We understand that welcoming a new parrot or setting up a new cage is a significant decision. Please review our policy below, which is separated for live parrot purchases and product (cage/supplies) purchases.


🦜 Policy for Live Parrot Purchases

Due to the sensitive nature of live animals, our policy for parrots is focused on health and welfare rather than simple “returns.”

1. Health Guarantee:
We provide a 7-day health guarantee from the time of pickup or delivery. This guarantee requires that you take the parrot to a licensed, certified avian veterinarian for a wellness check within this period.

  • If the avian vet finds a life-threatening congenital or infectious illness, you must notify us immediately with the vet’s written report.
  • We will offer one of the following solutions:
    • Exchange for another parrot of equal value (subject to availability).
    • Full store credit for the purchase price of the bird.
    • Please note: Vet fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Returns & Rehoming:
We do not accept “returns” on parrots as you would a product. However, we are deeply committed to the lifelong well-being of every bird we place.

  • If you can no longer care for your parrot: For any reason, at any point in the bird’s life, you must contact us first. We will take the bird back to ensure it is placed in a suitable, vetted home. A refund is not provided in these circumstances, but you will have the peace of mind that your feathered friend is safe.
  • Change of Mind: If you change your mind within the first 48 hours before taking possession of the bird, a full refund will be issued. After the bird leaves our facility, no refunds are given for change of mind.

📦 Policy for Cages, Supplies, & Accessories

We want you to be completely happy with your new habitat setup. You may return most new, unopened, and unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

Conditions for Return:

  • Item must be in its original packaging with all parts and manuals.
  • Item must be in new, unused, and resalable condition.
  • A copy of the original sales receipt or order number is required.

Non-Returnable Items:
For the health and safety of all our birds, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Opened bags of food, treats, or supplements.
  • Used or opened toys, perches, or grooming supplies.
  • Any item that has been assembled.

How to Return a Cage or Product:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at support@exoticparrotsforsale.shop or call us at +15733153316 to initiate a return and receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. Pack Securely: Repackage the item securely in its original packaging.
  3. Ship: Ship the item to the address we provide, including the RA number clearly on the box. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrect due to our error.

Damaged or Incorrect Items:
If your item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange a prepaid shipping label for its return and promptly send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Q: What if my parrot seems sick after the guarantee period?
A: While our formal health guarantee has expired, we are always here to help. Please contact us immediately. We can offer advice and connect you with resources based on our extensive experience.

Q: Can I return a custom-ordered or made-to-order cage?
A: No. All custom-built or special-order cages are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged.

Q: How long will a refund take?
A: Once we receive and process your returned item, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Q: I’m driving a long distance to pick up my parrot. What if there’s an issue on the way home?
A: We strongly recommend you complete the avian vet check in your local area within the guarantee period. The stress of travel can sometimes mask or exacerbate underlying conditions, and a vet check is the best way to ensure a smooth transition.
