We collect a bird’s blood sample and send it to a lab for overnight analysis. Results are shared with customers upon receipt from the lab. If a specific sex is desired, we hold the bird for the customer until results are confirmed. Customers have 24 hours post-results notification to complete the purchase. If you request a DNA sample for informational purposes only and do not care about the sex of the bird, you will receive DNA results via email within 7-14 days. There will be no shipping delays of the bird unless a specific sex is requested.
